Tumble Rumble is a Melbourne based Cinematography and Motion Graphics studio
Growing up, I spent most of my time in class doodling out of the teachers’
sights, creating my own little comic strips. Throughout my childhood, I was
heavily influenced by the works of Gary Larson from The Far Side and Lat, a
Malaysian artist who draws on his kampong days, a culture I can very much
relate to having grown up in Singapore. With my illustration skills, I decided to
pursue a digital media designs diploma at Nanyang Polytechnic (Singapore).
From there, my love for cinema and film theory grew which ignited me to pick
up a camera and pursue a filming career.
My core strengths lie in illustration/design work as well as 2D/3D animation. I also do much videography, compositing, editing/colour grading as well as film
My last stint was with Dr D. Studio in Sydney, Australia, working on the award-
winning Happy Feet 2 feature film. I worked as a crowd motion editor in a team
of 15. I am currently working at Ridley Bible College in Melbourne, Australia,
where I am commissioned to film/edit/produce a series of lectures as part of a
new online certificate course initiative which I am stoked about.
I am currently assisting to produce The Light series at City on a Hill Church in
Melbourne which is based on the Book of John. These bible reading videos which require a weekly turnaround timeframe involve a great deal of outdoor filming,
cinematography skills and colour grading which I thoroughly enjoy. In my other
times, I also do freelance work and you can view samples of my recent works
throughout this portfolio. I am available for freelance work when my schedule
allows. Get in touch with me with your job to discuss.

Why Tumble Rumble you ask?
There’s a bit of a silly in every animator/illustrator I know and sometimes
silliness can come in random forms and shapes. Tumble Rumble connotes (to
me), audibly and visually, being lively which is really just about what I do in my
